Lust and Hatred, the Source of My Suffering

Through the transformative power of self-reflection, I was able to understand that excessive desire, which I chose to call lust, and all harmful mental activities, which I labeled as hatred, were the root of most of my suffering. With repeated yet simple observation, I was able to tame, reduce, and ultimately free myself from them. This journey of self-reflection and realization led me to liberation and Nibbana.

Another critical question is, “Who is lusting and hating?”
