Relief After a Near Accident

A little while ago, I was checking out the new phone that I bought yesterday at the Apple store, and I saw a question from a Dhamma friend about my previous posting and answered it. Then, I was driving home afterward; my car was in the first lane, a school bus was in the second lane, and a passenger car was in the third lane. Suddenly, a car in the third lane tried to jump in front of the school bus, and the bus driver honked his horn in panic. I looked to my right; it could've been a catastrophic accident involving many cars. At that moment, a smile appeared on my face. "Oh, thank goodness. It could've been a big accident, and people would get hurt, but fortunately, it was avoided." I arrived home safely with an equanimous and happy feeling. School buses are made strong to protect children. That's why passenger cars are usually badly damaged when a school bus collides with them.
