What Makes the NBEF Practice Method Unique and Effective?

The NBEF Practice Method is simple, engaging, and easy to understand and apply. Yet, it is also intense, requiring courage to confront the truths of one’s life, along with steadiness, persistence, and unwavering commitment to achieving lasting happiness.

As laypeople, we navigate all aspects of life—the good, the bad, and the challenging. Given our responsibilities, how can we possibly achieve liberation and Nibbāna when time and energy seem scarce? The answer lies in our approach: we take our very lives, with all their complexities, as the objects of meditation. Waiting for life to settle before practicing is an illusion; true practice happens amidst life itself.

The Buddha emphasized seeking guidance from those who have attained inner serenity and direct insight into reality. Your NBEF Dhamma teachers will guide you with the experiential wisdom and Jhana gained from their own journeys. As the Aṅguttara Nikāya (A4:94, Samādhi Sutta) states, one should learn from those who have cultivated concentration and insight.
